Mouri's best friend at Rikkai, eventual ex-lover and ex-spouse. President of Rikkai's Chemistry Club. Biromantic asexual. Not supportive of Mouri's romantic pursuits because they're in love with him, but also realizes that he and Ochi belong together. Ends up dating Mouri's older sister Emiko following their divorce.Comes off as cold and callous and requires a lot of time to warm up to people. The oldest of the 3 Mouri siblings. Loves his younger siblings, but doesn't see them as much due to attending university in Austria. Fluent in English and German, but can't read half the standard kanji anymore. Studying to become a diplomat.He grew up consuming foreign media that his mother would give him and learned English from watching American cartoons and sitcoms. He became curious about learning German after his father left a German-Japanese dictionary lying around and decided to read it. Ryouta always dreamed of studying abroad and didn't see much of a need to study Japanese beyond being able to speak it. He is terrible with kanji as a result of this and often misreads words or needs a dictionary to figure out what it means.His mother passed away when he was in his final year of high school, which ended up separating him from his younger siblings. He stayed at his maternal aunt's home in Hyougo for the remainder of his final year before moving to Vienna to pursue a degree in sociology. He currently has a partner, who also happens to be an international student from Japan at his university.Ryouta often worries about Jusaburou because he feels guilty that he wasn't around him much when they were growing up. She grew up mostly online and in doujin circles, which has only driven her desire to see a world where anyone can marry whomever they wanted. A young Frenchman with freckles and stunning blonde hair that almost reaches the ground.His signature move, Mali's Blessing, is indicative of his style of play. He enjoys playing tennis with a relaxed mind. In short, he is always in the "zone." He also possesses an inexhaustible stamina that is beyond that of ordinary people, so no one can touch him once he is consumed by his pace. He is a very good player, but because he tries to enjoy tennis more than anyone else, he forgets that it is a game and plays without scoring points. The coaches at the U-17 camp have a hard time dealing with him as a result. His all-out, full-throttle style of play, which would destroy a normal person's body, has led the camp staff to call it "tennis for idiots." He also has a passing shot called "Shugar's Thunder," which is as sharp as a bolt of lightning.Originally an orphan, he was adopted by a lesbian couple. He moved to Japan as part of his parents' designer activities and currently attends Hyoutei Academy. He has a strong academic ability and can read and write in Japanese, but his Japanese is not perfect and he has a tendency to end his sentences with the same schism. He possesses a very special kind of unique magic that is considered dangerous and is kept in check by the NRC faculty to make sure he doesn't accidentally unleash some horrors onto the unsuspecting student body.Born to two magicless parents, it was a strange surprise when Rémy developed magical abilities. Around the time he developed this talent, the colour in his left eye changed from purple to red. Not wanting his magic to go to waste, his parents sent Rémy to NRC to further develop his skills. Rémy is expected to take over running his parents' award-winning restaurant once he graduates.His unique magic "Anyone Can Cook!" gives a random extra ability to someone else during combat. The strength of random ability seems dependent on the receiver's cooking skills. For example, when used on Trey, the ability allows Trey to cast a powerful inferno that envelops the area. When casted on Leona, the same magic only allows Leona to cast a puff of dust. Given that the support ability is mostly useless outside of combat, no one seems to pay much mind to him and believe Rémy is bad with magic.Rémy enjoys causing chaos wherever he goes and takes pride in not following instructions. Vil has mostly given up on ever trying to control him like the rest of the Pomefiore dorm. Riddle hates him. He sometimes works the Monstro Lounge kitchen, which causes many students to stop by as his cooking is said to be legendary.
